gedicht onder een dikke laag l\u00f6ssgrond. een ietwat weemoedige  terugblik met een ietwat weemoedige titel. 9 zachte regels neergelegd in een  zachte herinnering &#8211; de vraag stellen is het antwoord geven &#8211; wie zijn jeugd  heeft doorgebracht in limburg draagt limburg onontkoombaar bij zich. de  praalwagens geteisterd door storm en regen, de po\u00ebzie van lisan waait nooit  over:<br> \u00a0<br><strong> Laatste  Carnaval<\/strong><br> \u00a0<br> Kan ik die weg wel zonder schade  afleggen<br> zonder de kleurrijke optocht te  schaden<br> en blijft het clowntje in mij zachtjes  zingen <br> \u00a0<br> als ik heuvel op, heuvel af kroeg in,  kroeg uit, <br> met mijn broers voor eeuwig, fluit,  trommel en trombone <br> dubbel zo hard en dubbel zo vals  speel.<br> \u00a0<br> Of verdwijnt het lijden en geluid  voorgoed<br> zoals het Limburgse landschap onder het  asfalt verdween, <br> de wonden nu geheeld en verbonden met  mij, door mij, in mij. <br> \u00a0<br>
