Het riekt er naar een mengsel van kerosine en mijn zweet. Snikheet is het. Gelukkig is de drempel naar het toestel nabij. Ze heeft van die dikke witte zachte rubberzolen. Pal achter mij. Geluidloos. Daarboven een strak rond het lijf sluitend broekpak. Zwart satijn met wijde pijpen vanuit de lies. Een forse roze speld bedwingt haar geblondeerde lokken; een zorgvuldig gestileerde gouden hanenkam als resultaat.<br><br> Middellang en modieus is ze. Trots als een Spaanse dame. Met blingbling behangen. Even later neemt ze sierlijk plaats aan het gangpad. Op rechts aan de overzijde. Eenmaal airborne frommelt ze een zak ongebrande amandelen uit een nogal rommelig ogende kunstlederen designertas. Zo\u00b4n doorgestikte. Een forse witte tablet ook. De bleke pitten verdwijnen in rap tempo tussen haar volmaakt rood gestifte lippen. De kaken bewegingsloos. De wangen bij het slikken steeds heel even komvormig naar binnen gezogen. Heel doorslikken? Almendras? Hoezo? Mijn observatie is blijkbaar niet adequaat. Tja. <br><br>Dat gebeurt wel vaker als het bloedheet is. Nadat ze bij de stewardess geklaagd heeft dat de airco nogal fr\u00edo is, verdwijnt ze met een zenuwachtig lachje in haar iPad. Ik ben zo wazig dat ik subiet in een rusteloze slaap stort. In mijn waan ruik ik de adem van Eva. Ze serveert Red Bull met Pastis. In a purple submarine. De tijd vliegt en ik kom pas weer boven water nadat de landing reeds is ingezet. Het signaal piept. Stoelriemen aan! Bijna back home. Pa\u00edses Bajos. Fris is het er wel. Pobre se\u00f1ora espa\u00f1ola. Raar woord als je erover nadenkt.
