Met die ezel. En die steen. Berenklauw? Dat is een venijnig stuk onkruid. Het sap ervan. De haartjes op de steel. Gaat niet goed samen met zonlicht. Een jaar of wat geleden was ik ook al eens de bok. De huid tot bloedens toe verbrand. Blaren als builenpest. Drabberig vocht dat maar druipen bleef. Ik had beter moeten weten.<br><br>Een meter of twee hoog. Een stuk of honderd. Stonden er. Vorig weekend. Een paar flink hoger nog. Berenklauwen in het gras. Een bloemenkerkhof in de dop. Een lekker klusje voor de takkenknipper en de heggeschaar. Dacht ik. Ik hoorde Eva nota bene nog vermanend fluisteren. Vriendelijk doch dringend. Daarboven in die maagdenwitte bloemenkroon. Oppassen geblazen? Boeien! Hoezo risico? Gewoon doen. Fuck it. Moet kunnen.<br><br>Inmiddels zit ik een week binnen. Als een korstige melaatse. Als een vampier die zonlicht niet verdragen kan. Dat moet minstens zeven dagen. Leven zonder zonnestralen. Volgens Google. De paarsbruine korsten jeuken inmiddels als de ziekte. De huid hier en daar nog rauw en rood als verse varkenslever. Eva? Die lacht op zeker in haar vuistje. En ik lach luidkeels met haar mee. Want na hoogmoed komt de val. Ik had beter moeten weten. Volgende keer?
