Alsof er ook binnenvogels zijn. Ja, de parkiet, de grijze roodstaart en de kanarie mogelijk. Maar dan heb je het al snel gehad. Al jaren koop ik om de zoveel tijd bij een dierenspeciaalzaak een grote zak vogelzaad. Nog nooit heb ik de zak eigenlijk goed bekeken. Tja, ik was altijd gefocusd op welk zaad ik het beste kon gebruiken. Strooizaad, winterzaad, herfstzaad, gemengd zaad, vario, met of zonder zonnebloempitten. Te veel om op te noemen. Zoveel smaken, zoveel soorten. Keuzestress krijg ik dan. Alsof je in een supermarkt staat en niet kunt kiezen welke soort thee. Zoveel keuze. Mijn theewater raakt er spontaan van aan de kook.\u00a0<br><br>Nu ik de zak met zaad eens goed heb bekeken, vallen mij de prachtige vogels op. Drie klassiekers kleurrijk uitgelicht. Zelfs een beetje extra kleur hebben ze gratis mee gekregen. Niet mat maar vol glans. Zo&#8217;n foto die je in een donkere kamer langzaam ziet oplichten in de bak met ontwikkelaar. De eerste Aha-erlebnis word jouw deel. Fixeer en stabilisator doen de rest. Ik voel me de koning te rijk en zie langzaam de koolmees, huismus en roodborst tot leven komen. Wat kan natuur toch mooi zijn. Voortaan zal een zak vol vogelzaad voor mij nooit meer vanzelfsprekend hetzelfde zijn. Maar een drager van natuur, een kunstuiting op doek. Het zij zo. En dat is maar goed ook. Alles voor de vogels. Iedere dag vers een bordje zaad plus een boterham in stukjes geplukt. Het geluk kan niet verder op. De roodborst meldt zich het eerst, daarna volgt de huismus en de koolmees. Precies in die volgorde. Baas boven baas.
